Global NRG Portable Solar Digester
Where direct
connection to sewers is not possible, Global Domes can be equipped with
the Global NRG solar powered portable anaerobic digester which will
convert the human waste into biogas that can be used for cooking and
generating electricity.
The portable NRG Solar
digester consists of an anaerobic fermentation tank, a gas storage bag,
a gas pump, a solar charger, as well as gas pipeline and appliances. The
anaerobic fermentation tank
consists mainly
of an upper tank and a lower tank. The digester has the following
advantages:
· Easy
and quick to install. It can be easily installed by the users themselves within two hours.
· Convenient
to transport, because its total weight is only 90 kg.
· Wide
rang of fermentation materials: It is suitable for use of food & human
waste, grass, leaves and straw as fermentation material.
· High
gas production rate: the gas production can reach 2m³/day
Solar power, AC DC air-conditioning, Pellet Stove Heating
Global Solar and electricity generation system can be coupled via the
NRG economizer microgrid to power Global Domes even
when grid supplied electricity is not available.
The solar power air conditioner is able to cool or warm the Global Dome,
while the ESU (Energy Storage Unit) can hold sufficient power to power
the accommodation even when the sun is not shinning.
Biogas from the digester can be used to power a back-up 5K biogas
generator rendering the Global Dome self sufficient in power and
environmentally friendly. Rain water is captured for drinking and
washing and passed through a NRG filter system.
Where the accommodation is located in cool climate areas additional
heating can be provided via a Global NRG wood pellet stoves, which can
also incorporate water heating.
Hot water is also supplied via solar power and by recirculation of the
waste heat from the Air conditioner compressor.
Global Domes are environmentally friendly, and using Global NRG
technologies are able to be independent of the grid for power, and the
mains water and sewerage. The Global Dome is a truly stand alone energy
